  • Can I order a watch to try for size?
    Of course, deciding to buy a watch is not something you can rush: It should be ticking away on your wrist for years to come, after all. This is why it’s important and quite right to try on a watch. That’s the only way you can see whether it suits your wrist. You can do so quite easily at any of our authorized retailers. You can also do so if you purchase online—but there are a few things you should note first. In the NOMOS store you can also order watches for a trial, in order to test the function of the watch and how it is to wear. If you do so, we would give the same advice that any retailer would: The watch should always be left on a clean and even surface, such as the NOMOS cleaning cloth it comes with. You should also always take care when turning the watch, in order to avoid scratches. Of course, you’re welcome to fasten the watchstrap—only the most cautious would have any issues with that. However, the trial is not intended for customers wishing to wear the watch—after all, that wouldn’t be possible in a store either. If a watch is not carefully handled and comes back to the NOMOS store with clear signs of use, we will have to charge for the service required to restore it to its original state.
  • Can I exchange or return a watch?
    It happens every now and then: The selected model doesn’t quite suit your wrist as you thought it would. As is always the case with online purchases, you have the right to return unused items within 30 days without specifying a reason. We will return the purchase price. If you would like a different model, simply use this refund to make a new order.
  • How long is the warranty?
    Your watch comes with a warranty of two years from the date of purchase, during which time we will rectify all defects that are not the result of damage free-of-charge, as a matter of course. And even after that, we will try to help as quickly and fairly as possible.
  • I would like a different strap, can you do that?
    Sure, no problem. Just let us know which strap you would like in the comments field during your order. An extra charge will only occur if you require a Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan or a cowhide leather strap for a watch from the Campus series, as they already come with a ‘student discount’ from NOMOS Glashütte. However, the purchase price will remain the same if you order a velour leather or textile strap instead of a Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan one. Are you unsure whether you perhaps need a longer or a shorter watchstrap? Then use our watchstrap guide to find the right length for your wrist circumference. Just let us know in the comments field during your order, and we will fit the desired strap to your new watch. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service either for the remborde straps. We would also ask you to order these straps separately.
  • Can I make any special requests for my watch?
    As we aim to keep our collection as compact as possible, we are only able to offer a limited range of customizations. These do not include changes to the dials or similar.  
    Can a laser engraving be carried out on the back of a watch?
    Yes it can! Just get in touch if you would like a quote. But please bear in mind that custom engravings lengthen the delivery time for a watch by at least two weeks. It also voids the right to return. For this reason, it is usually easier to have the engraving carried out after delivery by a local jeweler.
  • Are watches purchased directly cheaper?
    NOMOS Glashütte always offers the recommended retail price that also applies to other retailers. This is the only way that we can keep watch prices and sales transparent and reasonable.
  • Do any additional costs apply to an order?
    No. You only pay the price of the watch. The NOMOS Store sells under the same conditions that apply to NOMOS retailers in their respective countries. Even in international shipping outside the EU, VAT, customs duties and all other taxes are already included.
  • How can I redeem a voucher?
    There is a small field during the order process for redeeming a voucher. Simply enter the code on your voucher and click on “redeem voucher.”
  • Why aren’t all watches available to order immediately from the NOMOS store?
    Sometimes it is unfortunately the case that you may have to wait for your desired model to become available again. The long delivery times are due to the very high demand for certain models. New models in particular are sometimes in short supply. We always try to match production to demand, but as a watchmaking company that creates the majority of parts by hand, we can only produce a certain amount of watches at a time. NOMOS timepieces cannot be produced in much larger quantities overnight—quality craftsmanship, created by hand, simply takes time. When you have seen the finished product, you will understand what we mean. And perhaps this anticipation makes waiting just a little bit sweeter.
  • Security and trust

  • How do I return my order?
    Would you like to return something? Just get in touch with us. We will ensure that the purchase comes back to us insured and free-of-charge for you, and return your payment. We honor a 30-day right to cancellation on all orders.
  • Will my order come with the latest NOMOS catalog?
    When you order your watch from the NOMOS Online Store, it will be sent to you in either a wooden NOMOS box or a leather case, depending on the model. Enclosed you will also find the cleaning cloth and the completed warranty booklet, stamped by the NOMOS Store. With every order we also include our latest catalog as well, so that you might learn a little more about your watch as well as others.
